EMP Quilts is located 5 miles west of Lake Worth, Texas, and about 15 minutes from downtown Fort Worth in a little burg called Azle.

Nadj Pankey - Owner. Nadj established the store in 1995 after visiting her first International Quilt Festival in Houston. There she found the Nolting Quilting Machine along with the Statler Stitcher computerized quilting system. It's history in the making!

Laura Pankey - Teacher - Web Master - Newsletter Editor - Daughter Extraordinaire!! Laura was with Nadj on that fateful trip to Houston where she assisted with the decision to purchase the erstwhile Nolting machine. The first few monnths in business were interesting, to say the least.

Bandit - Found the same year we opened the store, Laura adopted him and he's been a fixture ever since. Now in his 14th year (he was 3 when we found him), cataracts have caused him to become blind, but he still gets around with ease, just let him bump his nose into you and he'll just go around!!

Tig & Roo - Nadj &n Eds babies! Just 6 years old, they are Maltese and Bishon Frishe mix. But don't let them hear you call them spoiled! No sir! If you happen to be in the store on bath day, you'll probably see them on their way home from the groomers house.
