Better Homes & Gardens to sell on eBay!

Last year they received hundreds of quilts to auction and raised lots of money for the Susan G. Komen Cancer Foundation. And our store contributed 20 quilts to this total. We have been contacted by BH&G to let us know that TWO OF OUR QUILTS (one shown below being quilted) may be included in their book about the event!!! Keep an eye on our web site for further information!!

This year, we want to contribute more than we did last year. We have more volunteers to help quilt the quilts, and we are offering incentives for our customers to donate completed quilt tops and fully quilted quilts ready to be sent out!

We are also going to hold the marathon sewing event on the weekend of September 21, 22 & 23. Friday, the classroom will be available to anyone who wants to bring their machines in and sew. Saturday we will open early at 9 am and the machines will be humming from 9 until 6 pm. If you want to bring a dish so we won't have to stop and go get something to eat for lunch, it will be VERY
welcome!!

We will have door prizes as well as drawings for those who bring in completed tops and finished quilts, so get to work now to be eligible for the prizes!!
